I update my Trade Journal most frequently. This month we've had some wild swings both up and down. The sharpness of the rally was a little tough, and I'm still battling XLI and KRE. I've also managed to lock in some good profits, and avoided a horrible disaster in XOP. Oil had a massive rally which dropped right back down almost immediately. That would not have been pretty for the I had. Phew! Overall, I'd say September was hard work, but a strong month as far as goes.
New Articles
I wrote a couple new articles for you all this month:
Please check them out. My "5 Tips.." article is an opinion piece which discusses the mindset and concepts that have helped me succeed. I think it could be applied to subjects beyond just trading as well.
The second article discusses how we can limit risk to fit our comfort levels using It is a must-read for knowledgable new traders, and traders with small accounts! The content of this article is somewhat complex so if you're brand new to options, be sure to read through the first 3 sections of my Articles before trying to tackle this one.
