ETF

ETF stands for "Exchange Traded Fund." Similar to a

mutual fund,

an ETF is a grouping of several different securities into one product. Often ETFs group together stocks of a particular industry in the hopes of creating

diversified

exposure to the sector. Unlike a mutual fund, shares may be bought and sold throughout the trading day.
