For the sake of keeping my risk small, I've decided to close out this XLK position earlier than planned. I'm making some profits on it thanks to contraction, but it's had a decent run-up since it was first established. My risk has become pretty heavy and with KRE and XLI giving me some directional strain, I don't want to let this one get away from me as well. It's the highest priced underlying in my portfolio at the moment so it has potential to grow some teeth if I let it. Closing this position locks in profit, reduces my total portfolio delta risk by 20%, and frees up over $1500 in buying power. At this point, I'm extremely prepped for some major volatility spikes... Hopefully we'll get some action soon!
